One of my absolute favorite things to do:
Go for a walk in the middle of the street during a snowstorm in NYC.
There weren't any cars on the street at 3:00 AM . . .
and that's just the way i like it.

I took this picture after playing football on the Great Hill in Central Park
Our second big snowstorm of february was amazing. The sun was out,
the snow was deep and this is what I got to see as I made my way home

Pics from the NYC Snowstorm
Central Park edition
Just a pretty scene in the Great Hill

The pond at 103rd looking south .
The lights had just come on, and you can see building in the background

would be sledders making a "jump"

This is why Australians don't sled

I think it's gorgeous when the trees get covered in snow

Pics from the NYC Snowstorm
Morningside Park edition
On the west side of the park, looking southeast

The pond, with some eager sledders up above

Standing in Morningside, looking at St. John the Divine

A pretty staircase in Morningside

The clubhouse

Peoples sledding with St John the Divine in the background

A snowperson on the West side of the park, looking down the hill

This placard is on a bench in central park.
I thought it was very heartwarming.
Such a simple, nice thing to say about someone

So we came across some guy sketching this statue.
Pretty fucking amazing. I couldn't stop watching him

What a steal!
Who wouldn't want a hand patinated bronze mold of Lincoln's hand?

I came across this the other day. It was weird and unexpected
It was only open for people in the stock exchange and not fun for me

I took this picture last friday night, because I couldn't believe
how bright the moon was. It turned out to be the brightest
moon of the year. The wolf moon. This picture doesn't do it justice.

I'm not sure which building this is on Columbia's campus.
I just think it looked especially elegant this particular night

On Division St and Forsyth St in China Town.
I really get a kick out of this building.
I love the contrast of the dark brick with the blue sky.
And if you look closely you can see the Chrysler Building.
