This was my first time back in Time Square, since they
prohibited cars from being on Broadway. It's still awful,
and reminded why I never go there in the first place.

    Are those people just sitting in the street? Why?

    yes they are, because now, you can just sit there. Broadway is pedestrians only from 47-42. The have comfy hand chairs, and lil dogs in remote control cars with billboards, and thousands of tourists. It's even more awful than before.

    Let me get this straight... People's choice of entertainment is to go to Times Square and sit in chairs in order to soak up as much hyper-consumerist propaganda as possible via flashing lights and enormous advertisements? Doesn't that give you brain cancer or something?
